SIJ Group will offer employment to current employees of Adient Slovenj Gradec, a manufacturer of interior parts for the automotive industry, as most of its 430 employees could lose their jobs by the end of the year. SIJ Group has already contacted Adient to help in this situation. Together, they are looking for the most effective employment solutions for workers whose knowledge, skills and experience are also needed in SIJ Metal Ravne and SIJ Ravne Systems, which are the largest SIJ Group companies in the Koroška Region. Both companies will offer work in production and maintenance, i.e. workers with secondary technical education (mechanical technicians, electricians, mechatronics technicians, metallurgists, locksmiths, metalworkers, technical assistants), as well as work in other jobs in production. They will also welcome candidates with other backgrounds, whose applications will also be prioritized.
Given the stability of operations and sufficient orders, SIJ Metal Ravne and SIJ Ravne Systems are ready to provide employment immediately to at least 30 people and are therefore inviting Adient employees as well as other candidates to regularly check the current job adverts on their websites.They will also organize other activities to invite candidates to apply.
